Government Launched 14444 Toll-Free Helpline for Queries on Digital Payments:
The 14444 Toll-Free Helpline has been taken off by the Government of India in a joint effort with the Telecom and IT Industry. This number has been launched with a prime proverb of clearing the questions of the clients about the computerized payments. This helpline can clear the questions and disarrays with respect to different stages including the Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) App, Aadhaar-empowered payment system (AEPS), e-Wallets, and USSD.
J S Deepak, the Telecom Secretary told about the latest 14444 Toll-Free Helpline, “The helpline ‘14444’ is available in North as well as Eastern part of the country in English and Hindi and will soon be extended pan India, and in other languages”.
Users can have Awareness on BHIM, UPI, USSD, Aadhar Based Payments, and other modes of digital transactions
This helpline was launched by the Department of Telecom in a joint effort with programming affiliation NASSCOM together, and in addition the IT business. As the telecom services have interest in this initiative of enabling 14444 Toll-Free Helpline, the helpline number can be used by the supporters of the considerable number of operators. In view of the developing call traffic patterns, the Government will bear the money related support for the activity later on while, the cost is at first being borne by the industry.
After the presentation of different methods for using the Digital payments, this helpline goes for those clients who use the cashless transactions using BHIM, UPI, USSD, or any digital payment stage. The transfer speed has been given by the private sector telecom organizations while the call center infrastructure has been given by the IT-BPO Industry.
The Government data shows limitless increment in the use of various methods of online transactions in these couple of months and came up with the toll free number to solve the digital payment queries of clients. With the presentation of this most recent helpline, the usage of UPI and USSD payment modes is relied upon to rise.
