“Considering the importance of achieving the level of learning, the syllabus has been rationalised to the extent possible by retaining the core concepts,” CBSE said in a statement.

Parents Move SC over Conducting the Remaining Exams from 1st July

CBSE Board Exam 2020 for the rest of the papers would be conducted from July 1 to July 15. The decision to conduct the rest of the papers is opposed by a group of four parents who have moved to the Supreme Court on Tuesday requesting to hold the papers. The parents have requested that the court direct the Board to offer marks to understudies based on internal assessment.

The parents have expressed concern and affirmed that the students including their children who will be appearing for the exams would be exposed to the pandemic. The group of parents has so pleaded the Supreme Court to intercede and put a stay on the decision. The examination would be conducted at 15000 centers the nation over.

As per the report, the petition has been filed by advocate Rishi Malhotra. As per the petition, “CBSE cancelled the examinations of Class X and XII for its 250 odd schools which are situated abroad and has adopted criteria in awarding marks on the basis of either practical exams conducted or internal assessment marks. It is highly regretful that the respondents herein have no genuine concern about putting the lives at peril of all the students pan India and have no explanation whatsoever in insisting upon holding the said examination in India.”

Besides, Malhotra has said that when various educational institutions including Delhi University, IITs, different state Boards have cancelled the exam to shield the understudies from start presented to the lethal infection, CBSE likewise can.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday released the modified datesheet for the rest of the class 10th and 12th board exams.

The class 10 and 12 board exams will be conducted for the remaining 29 papers from July 1 to July 15 2020 at different examination centers.

India’s home ministry has permitted 3000 schools under the central board of secondary education (CBSE) to begin evaluation of class 10 and class 12 board exam answer papers.

HRD minister Ramesh Pokriyal said 3000 CBSE affiliated schools have been recognized as assessment centers across India and special permission will be allowed to these schools for the limited purpose for avaluation.

“This will help us to quickly evaluate the 2.5 crore answer sheets. The results will be declared after the remaining board examinations have been conducted (scheduled between July 1 and 15, 2020),” the minister said.

India is hoping to restart its new academic year in August-September following quite a while of education disruptions due to covid-19 and class 10 and 12 board exam results has an influence in starting the new academic calender.

The schedule for the forthcoming academic session of schools will be reduced, Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today informed during the second live interaction with students through webinar social networking stages. He said the decision has been taken thinking about the pressure on students and the loss of important academic time.

“CBSE will assess the loss of instructional time for a proportionate reduction in curriculum load for exams. In accordance, course committees of the Board has initiated work on the reduced syllabus in various scenarios,” states an official statement from the ministry.

This can also bring about the lesser syllabus for JEE Main and NEET to be held next year. The issue of shortening the syllabus was raised by Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia in a meeting with HRD prior this week. We are adding both school and college courses on SWAYAM portal and SWYAM Prabha – a television or DTH initiative can telecast educational content on DD, Tata Sky, Airtel TV and other platforms,” the minister said.
