MYBB Slow Melody Success

Adjudicator Fiona Rolfe had some difficult decisions to make in Macclesfield Youth Brass Band’s sixth Slow Melody Contest on Saturday 27th September. The standard was very high, with only one point between contestants in many classes, not to mention a tied first place for Sam Housley and Alex Walton in the under 12 percussion class, and a perfect score for Lewis Frost in the 12 to 19 solo class!

“You have given me a very hard job,” said Fiona ”but it’s encouraging to hear so many promising young players.”
