2015 – It’s the year of MYBB’s tenth anniversary!

MYBB is one of the country’s newest youth bands but will be ten years old in 2015!

We have been working on plans for a very special year and are looking forward to some exciting events. Here is a list of performances arranged so far:

Sunday 8th February – Youth Brass Band Entertainment Championships, Blackpool

Friday 27th February – 10th Anniversary Launch Evening

Saturday 21st March – Newcastle-under-Lyme Festival

Sunday 19th April – National Youth Brass Band Championships

Friday 29th May – Whit Friday Marches

Sunday 28th June – MYBB’s big afternoon at the Treacle Market

Saturday 20th June – Gawsworth Fete

Saturday 4th July – 10th Anniversary Concert

Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th July – Love Music Trust Summer Concerts

Saturday 18th July – Marton Wakes

Saturday 25th July – Redesmere Fete

Saturday 12th December – Christmas Concert

The band has also produced a 10th Anniversary Calendar, now on sale at £10 (plus postage where applicable), which shows the dates of these performances. It’s A4 sized so there’s lots of room to add your own appointments. Please email admin@mybb.org.uk if you would like a copy. Here is “November”!
